The Carolina Panthers got a little stronger this afternoon, just ahead of their huge Week 18 showdown against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Starting running back Rico Dowdle, who was listed as a non-participant for yesterday afternoon's walkthrough, returned as a full participant on Wednesday. The fifth-year rusher is currently dealing with a toe injury.
