The Carolina Panthers called up a pair of reinforcements for tomorrow's massive regular-season finale against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

As announced on Saturday afternoon, the team has activated linebacker Jacoby Windmon and cornerback David Long Jr. from the practice squad. Both are standard elevations.

Windmon appeared in eight games with a pair of starts for the Panthers during the 2024 campaign. He totaled 22 combined tackles, 1.5 sacks and two passes defensed.

The 24-year-old defender will provide depth in the absence of fellow inside linebacker Claudin Cherelus, who has been ruled out due to calf and ankle injuries. Krys Barnes is expected to get the start in place of Cherelus for Saturday's matchup in Tampa Bay.

Long played in three games for Carolina back in 2023. His most recent stop came with the Indianapolis Colts last season, where he played in 13 games.
