The Green Bay Packers are resting their key players for the Week 18 game against the Minnesota Vikings with nothing to play for.

However, the team has left starting quarterback Jordan Love in position to possibly see the field on Sunday.

The Packers are starting Clayton Tune in Week 18, but the only other quarterback who is dressing for the game is Love.

That's because the Packers made No. 2 quarterback Malik Willis, who was questionable going into Sunday, inactive due to a shoulder injury.

The team also failed to elevate recently signed signal-caller Desmond Ridder from the practice squad for the contest.

So, if Tune gets hurt, the Packers might be forced to turn to Love.

That simply cannot happen in a meaningless game, and we would suspect the Packers won't make that mistake with the playoffs right around the corner.

Instead, look for the Packers to insert someone else in Tune's spot if he gets hurt, and we'd expect to see a lot of running plays and wildcat in that scenario.

In the event the Packers do go to Love, we wouldn't anticipate him throwing a single pass.
