Packers lose WR Bo Melton to knee injury in regular season finale

Green Bay Packers wide receiver and special teamer Bo Melton suffered a knee injury in the first half of Sunday's regular season finale and is questionable to return.

Melton, who has played most of the snaps at wide receiver on Sunday, was injured while making a tackle on punt coverage.

Per Rob Demovsky of ESPN, Belton is seated on the bench with a wrap on his injured knee.

Melton played 177 snaps on special teams through the first 16 weeks. The Packers cross-trained him at cornerback this offseason, but he has not played a snap on defense in 2025. On special teams, Melton returns kicks, covers punts and kicks and blocks on punt return -- making him a core special teamer for Rich Bisaccia. He also has a touchdown catch as a wide receiver.

Melton's injury could make it difficult for the Packers to get through Sunday's finale at wide receiver without using Romeo Doubs, Jayden Reed or Christian Watson, who are all active but not playing so far.

The Packers are sitting most key starters in an attempt to stay healthy entering the postseason next week.
