The All-Pro edge rusher announced on Monday night that he had a successful surgery to his ACL after tearing it during Week 15 of the regular season.
"Today went amazing!!! LFG!!" Parsons wrote on social media.
It was earlier Monday when the defensive end posted a photo from his hospital bed.
He also commented on a video of his first sack as a Packer.
"This stadium eruption was the loudest I’ve ever heard," Parsons said. "I wish I could relive this moment a few more times!"
Parsons felt nostalgic leading up to the surgery and it showed. As the Packers prepare to enter the playoffs without arguably their best player, Parsons is preparing for a battle of his own.

It's not one that will require strength or speed. Instead, it demands mental toughness and patience.
While Green Bay gets ready to start their climb to the Super Bowl, Parsons has taken a step in his road to recovery.
