One day after officially entering the transfer portal, Oregon Ducks transfer cornerback Dakoda Fields has set up a visit with Oklahoma from Sunday (Jan. 4) to Tuesday (Jan. 6).
Fields was among the first Oregon players to announce his intentions of entering the portal, as he left the program in early November. The 6-foot-2, 200-pounder didn't see any action as a true freshman in 2024 and registered just one tackle against Montana State during his redshirt freshman campaign in 2025 before departing from the program.

A former four-star, Fields was one of several Ducks in the secondary to enter the transfer portal, as both the safety and cornerback positions are loaded with talent.
Fields was the 11th-ranked cornerback in the 2024 class and the 110th-ranked player nationally. He is listed as a three-star transfer, coming in as the No. 16 cornerback and No. 205 player overall in the portal.
The Sooners finished 33rd in passing yards allowed per game last season, finishing with a 10-2 record in the regular-season and earning a home game in the College Football Playoff. They relinquished a 17-0 lead in the CFP first round against Alabama, allowing 232 passing yards and two pass touchdowns to Crimson Tide quarterback Ty Simpson.

Now, in Fields, they're looking to add talent to their cornerback room. The former Duck will have three years of eligibility remaining after utilizing his redshirt in 2024.
