The Oklahoma Sooners had a busy day in the transfer portal on Monday, and their first acquisition of Tuesday was an important one. OU landed former Texas wide receiver Parker Livingstone in the transfer portal, after the former Longhorn chose to cross the Red River and join Oklahoma over Indiana.
Livingstone was a redshirt freshman for Texas in 2025, and he caught 29 passes for 516 yards and six touchdowns for the 'Horns this past season. He arrives in Norman with three more years of eligibility remaining, and with a real chance to carve out a great career in the crimson and cream.

Livingstone is the second portal addition for the Sooners at wide receiver in two days, as Oklahoma also landed former Virginia wideout Trell Harris. Oklahoma lost Jayden Gibson, Jakeb Snyder, Josiah Martin, KJ Daniels, and Zion Kearney from the WR room to the portal, and they'll also be without starters Deion Burks and Keontez Lewis next season.
The new additions in Harris and Livingstone should pair nicely with Isaiah Sategna III, if he returns to school. Oklahoma also hopes to return Javonnie Gibson and Jer'Michael Carter to the roster in 2026.
Livingstone was a surprise portal entry for the Longhorns, and Texas' loss has turned out to be Oklahoma's gain.
