Nika Prevc shows brother how it is done on Austrian hills

Slovenian Nika Prevc took over at the top of the women's World Cup standings with victory in Villach in Austria on Monday.

The 2024 and 2025 World Cup champion jumped 94.5 metres and 94m for 247.9 points to go above Japan's Nozomi Maruyama, who was only eighth on the day. Lisa Eder was second on home snow and Germany's Selina Freitag third.

It was Prevc's sixth win of the season, which includes February's Winter Olympics. She also triumphed in the recent Two Nights Tour.

Nika's brother Domen Prevc leads the men's World Cup standings and is big favourite for Four Hills glory as the prestigious tournament wraps up in Austria's Bischofshofen on Tuesday.

The women again jump on the Villach normal hill on Tuesday.
