James Cook rushed twice for 15 yards in the Buffalo Bills' romp over the New York Jets in Week 18. That was plenty to keep his cushion over the Indianapolis Colts' Jonathan Taylor, whom the Houston Texans thwarted as he tried to regain the lead from the Bills' star. Cook finished with 1,621 yards, and that made him the first Buffalo RB to lead the NFL in rushing since O.J. Simpson had 1,503 yards to win the category in 1976.
A look at who won the category since 2000 and how many yards they had in their season, leading the NFL in rushing.
