NFL playoff bracket: Matchups for NFC wild card round

4 days ago 2

Nick Sirianni's team was riding a three-game winning streak and was looking to move up in the playoff seedings with a win and some help on Sunday. Philadelphia entered the final week of the regular season with an 11-5 (.688) record, the organization's fourth consecutive year with 11+ victories – the 2nd-longest streak in franchise history (five, 2000-04).

Still, there will be some soul-searching to do over the next few days after a disappointing 24-17 loss to Washington in the season finale at Lincoln Financial Field. With quarterback Jalen Hurts and several key starters on both sides of the football out, Tanner McKee started the season finale with the opportunity to help Philadelphia move into the No. 2 seed with a Bears loss to the Packers. McKee was 21-40 passing, one touchdown, one interception, and a 68.9 rating, a far cry from his 2024 debut in the loss. Washington running back Chris Rodriguez Jr. had 16 carries for 65 yards and a touchdown.

With the loss, Philadelphia maintains the No. 3 seed even after the Bears suffered a 19-16 loss to the Detroit Lions.

With all Week 18 NFC games complete, here's an updated look at the playoff bracket for wild-card weekend, with dates and times to be released later Sunday evening.
