We have a date and a time for the Carolina Panthers' first playoff game in eight years.

Head coach Dave Canales, after officially clinching the NFC South title this afternoon, spoke with reporters about their familiarity with the Rams—whom they already played at Bank of America Stadium during the regular season.

"It's an opportunity to correct some things that we wanted to correct and try to replicate things that were successful for us," Canales stated. "But, it gives you a little bit of familiarity and confidence to know, 'Okay, this is a team we've seen before and we've played 'em tough.'"

Carolina saw Los Angeles back in Week 13, when the Rams sat atop the NFC as the No. 1 seed. The Panthers pulled off a 31-28 upset.
