The Brooklyn Nets have not had a successful road trip to this point as they've suffered tough losses at the Memphis Grizzlies and at the Dallas Mavericks. Brooklyn can salvage what's left of this road trip with their visit to the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday and the good news is that the Nets will be mostly at full health for their matchup in New Orleans.

The Nets announced on Tuesday that forward Ziaire Williams will remain out of the lineup for Wednesday's game at the Pelicans due to an illness. Williams has not made an appearance during this road trip as he continues to deal with his illness and in the meantime, Brooklyn has been relying on forwards like Drake Powell and Danny Wolf to fill those minutes left by Williams.

Moving on with Brooklyn's injury report, the Nets also mentioned that rookie guard Egor Demin and guard Cam Thomas will be back in the rotation after missing Monday's 113-105 loss at the Mavericks. Demin missed the contest as the team is trying to manage his plantar fascia injury that he picked up during the offseason while Thomas was out as Brooklyn is managing his left hamstring injury.

Demin, 19, has been getting comfortable the longer that he's in the starting lineup as he's averaging 10.4 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game while shooting 39.9% from the field and 39.1% from three-point land. Thomas, 24, has been adjusting well to his role as a scorer coming off the bench as he averages 18.9 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per contest while shooting 42.2% from the floor and 35.0% from behind the three-point line.

At the end of the injury report, Brooklyn announced that rookie Ben Saraf will remain on his G League assignment so it looks like head coach Jordi Fernandez has decided on what the point guard rotation will be moving forward. Demin has been the starting point guard while rookie Nolan Traore has been performing well as the backup point guard after having a rocky start to the season.
