Nebraska football is set to host UCLA transfer wide receiver Kwazi Gilmer on Monday. This was reported by multiple media outlets.
Gilmer had a productive season for the Bruins last year. He recorded 50 receptions for 535 yards and four touchdowns as a sophomore last season. In 2024 he had 31 receptions for 345 yards and two touchdowns.

The wideout had a small impact in UCLA’s loss to Nebraska in November, recording two catches for 13 yards. The Huskers are looking to make some moves in the transfer portal and retool the roster.
Gilmer would give the program another body at the position and additional depth. Nebraska is losing senior standout Dane Key, who used his last year of eligibility in 2025. Gilmer is a receiver with Big Ten experience and playmaking ability, and he would fill an immediate need for the program.
