Nebraska picked up a commitment on Tuesday evening from Oregon State linebacker Dexter Foster. Foster comes to Lincoln after recording 52 tackles for the Beavers last season. He was also productive in 2024, recording 43 tackles.
This season, he recorded 11 tackles in two games and had at least five tackles in all but one game played. Foster measures in at six-foot-three, 236 pounds.

He is the third linebacker addition of this transfer portal cycle, as the program continues remaking its defense.
Foster will bring some much-needed depth and experience to the linebacker room, as the defensive unit gets set for its first season under Rob Aurich. At the very least, Nebraska will not have a depth shortage at the position.
