Nebraska football is set to hire Miami (Ohio) defensive line coach Corey Brown for the same position. This was reported by multiple media outlets on Sunday.
Brown began his coaching career in 2006 at North Iowa Area Community College and worked his way up. He also coached at South Dakota as a defensive line coach and held the same role at Cornell. He served as defensive line coach at Miami (Ohio) from 2014 to 2018.

During his combined time at Miami Ohio, he coached nine All-MAC defensive linemen. Brown also worked as a graduate assistant at Notre Dame from 2012-2013.
This has been a long-awaited hire for Matt Rhule and the program. Now, they can focus on developing defensive line talent and bringing in additional talent. Brown has proven he can develop and should be able to be an asset.
