USA TODAY Sports released its latest Men's College Basketball Coaches Poll on Monday. Nebraska remains high on the poll, sitting at No. 13 for the second straight week.
The Huskers reached No. 13 in both the coaches poll and the AP rank following a 12-0 start to the season. This is the best start in program history, surpassing the previous best set back in the 1977-1978 season. Nebraska is also on a 16-game winning streak, carrying over from last season, surpassing the previous school mark set between 1912 and 1913 and during the 1990-91 season.

Nebraska remains at No. 13 after not playing any games during the Christmas week, holding its highest rank since March 1991. The Huskers are one of three teams in the nation that are undefeated in both men's and women's basketball. This is also the first time in school history that both Nebraska's men's and women's teams stand at 12-0.
The Huskers only played two conference games this season, blowing out Wisconsin and pulling off a top-25 win at No. 13 Illinois. Nebraska's next top-25 foe, No. 9 Michigan State, will be the team's first time hosting a top-15 matchup since March 1991.
The Huskers will conclude the non-conference portion of the season on Tuesday night against New Hampshire. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. CT on the Big Ten Network.
