Mizzou Football Transfer Tracker 2025-2026

1 week ago 2

I was really trying to wait on this. But you know. That’s how football goes.

The transfer portal doesn’t open for another 2 weeks – unless you’re reading this in the future, in which case, hi, I hope things are getting better! – and yet it’s all anyone seems to be talking about these days (especially over on Rock M+‘s football forums!) Players are moving left and right, Eli Drinkwitz is publicly pleading for certain players to come back… it’s a real mess. But it’s our mess.

So for the foreseeable future (aka one month from when I’m writing this), we’re going to use this post as a home base for transfer portal activity. We’ve put together a handy little table showing you all the players we think Mizzou is/should be targeting (the ‘Targets’ tab) and another showing which Mizzou players are moving out and going else where (the ‘Outgoing Activity’ tab.)

We hope this helps you organize yourselves. We’ll post much more about player movement over at Rock M+, but we’ll keep you updated with major news and updates here.

With New Years, and the transfer portal, right around the corner, Mizzou fans are so close to seeing what direction Drinkwitz takes the team in 2026. Here are a couple transfer portal updates from the past few days.

Not quite Mizzou related, unless the extremely unlikely happens, but it is big SEC news that Auburn receiver Cam Coleman has declared his intentions to enter the portal. Coleman jumps to the top-rated portal player on all major recruiting outlets. Whoever lands the former Auburn receiver will have an instant-impact monster on their team for next year.

Power Mizzou reported that Old Dominion receiver Ja’Cory Thomas has shown interest in Mizzou and will likely plan a visit soon. Thomas spent one year at ODU and was at Hutchinson CC prior. He was teammates with Mizzou commit Demarcus Johnson in 2024 when Hutchinson went 10-1 and won a JUCO National Championship.

From Josh on Rock M+:

Brief snapshot:

– 1 year of eligibility remaining
– 41 catches, 719 yards, 5 touchdowns, 17.5 avg in 2025
– 74.8 overall grade from PFF in 668 total snaps
– Decent run blocker (71.4 PFF grade)

Merry Christmas! Wanted to give a recap of a couple interesting things that have happened over the last few days in regards to Mizzou recruiting.

First, the team lost Brad Larrondo, who has served as a key asset to Mizzou’s NIL deals. Larrondo helps Mizzou athletes earn deals and make money specifically in football and men’s basketball. Although he isn’t directly a part of Mizzou’s staff, this is a major blow with how big NIL has become. That being said, Drinkwitz ensured fans that there isn’t anything to worry about.

On another note, Mizzou RB Jamal Roberts sent a tweet out in regards to his former teammate Chase Hendricks entering the portal. Hendricks also played at St. Mary’s High School with Mizzou WR Kevin Coleman, who just used up his final year of eligibility.

With Marquise Davis and Joshua Manning expected to hit the portal, Mizzou will definitely be shopping in the portal for a wide receiver and Hendricks could definitely be one of the guys.

Well, we need to get started somewhere. And where we’re starting feels… kind of bad?

Mizzou has already (publicly) lost five players to the portal, and they’re almost all in positions of need. Brendon Haygood and Marquise Davis’s departures have left Eli Drinkwitz publicly begging for Jamal Roberts to come back to the squad and take less money than he could earn on the open market. Assuming he does (think positive, think positive), Mizzou will probably be OK on running back talent, though it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Drink scoop someone up.

The wide receiver room, on the other hand, is turning into a bit of a shit show. Josh Manning’s departure is a massive disappointment to those of us who were ready to see him and Donovan Olugbode take the SEC by storm next year, and James Madison II’s early transfer saw another promising freshman talent quickly take the nearest exit. Javion Hilson’s departure is disappointing given his five-star recruiting status, but it’s also not too shocking that a surprise commitment from last year’s class didn’t stick for long.

We’ve also already got some lobbying from “rostered” players, with signee Jayden McGregory calling on his former teammate, Iowa State’s Zay Robinson, to join him in Columbia.
