Michigan State football has just secured its third commitment of the day on Sunday, and after adding on offense and defense, it is fitting that this add comes to the special teams.

The Spartans, with new special teams coordinator LeVar Woods, have secured the commitment of Iowa punter Rhys Dakin. Dakin will replace Ryan Eckley, who declared for the 2026 NFL Draft, as the Spartans punter. He will bring two years of eligibility with him to East Lansing.
