Michigan State football starting LT enters transfer portal

1 week ago 2

Michigan State football has lost a starting offensive lineman to the transfer portal upon it opening on Jan. 2. Stanton Ramil has made the decision to enter the transfer portal and move on from his time at Michigan State.

Ramil was expected to be a major contributor for the Spartans in recent years, but injuries continued to derail any momentum he tried to build. He was only able to make 14 starts in the last two seasons. With the injury concerns and the Spartans needing to rebuild the offensive line unit, it made sense for the parting of ways.

Auburn appears to be an early favorite for the former Spartan, with new coach Alex Golesh having recruited Ramil to Tennessee back in 2022, not to mention that Ramil is an Alabama native.

He has two years of eligibility remaining.
