Michigan State football is looking to revamp its roster through the transfer portal window that will be open from Jan. 2 to Jan. 16. For right now, visitors are being scheduled, and the Spartans have added a player at a key position to the visitor ledger.
Trequan Jones, a running back transfer from Old Dominion is scheduled to visit Michigan State and Cincinnati, according to a report from On3.

Jones, a 5-foot-9 and 185 pounder is from Bartow, Florida, and originally transferred to ODU from Georgia Military College. In 2025, he ran the ball 105 times for 792 yards and six touchdowns for the Monarchs. He would have one year of eligibility remaining, after rushing for over 1,000 yards in two seasons with GMC.
There is no date for his visit yet released, but it should be in the coming days.
