Green Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur provided a positive update on the injury suffered by starting defensive back Javon Bullard during Sunday's regular season finale against the Minnesota Vikings.
Bullard, who was playing safety, exited with a knee injury after a play in the fourth quarter.

"I think he's going to be OK. We'll have an update for you tomorrow, I'm sure," LaFleur said.
Why was Bullard, a key starter on defense, in the game in the fourth quarter? LaFleur said the Packers were "limited on bodies" in the secondary and needed to have either Bullard or Evan Williams on the field when matching personnel with nickel defense.
Bullard and Williams both ended up playing 21 snaps for the Packers.
Elsewhere on the injury front, core special teamer Bo Melton exited the game in the first half after making a tackle covering a punt. He also suffered a knee injury. While speaking with Larry McCarren of the Packers Radio Network afterwards, LaFleur wasn't certain about the severity of Melton's injury.
