Marvin Harrison injury: Arizona Cardinals WR has new foot injury

1 week ago 2

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. is dealing with another injury in a season that has been disappointing. On Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals, he exited the game with an injury that head coach Jonathan Gannon said was his heel.

Gannon clarified that it was not Harrison's heel that he injured. It was his foot.

Harrison was playing in his second game back from a heel injury. While many believed he reaggravated the same heel, it was actually an injury to his other foot.

Harrison has missed four of the last seven games. He missed two after he had his appendix removed. He got hurt in Week 13, injuring his heel against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 13. He missed two more games and then had a limited load against Atlanta and Cincinnati.

Will he play in the finale on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams? Gannon gave the standard statement: “If he's healthy enough to play, he'll play.”

In 12 games this season, Harrison has 41 receptions for 608 yards and four touchdowns. He did not have a catch on Sunday against the Bengals, getting targeted just once.
