Marshall Faulk agrees 2025 Rams are close to Greatest Show on Turf

The Los Angeles Rams looked like one of the best teams in the NFL this year. Not only did they have a top-10 offense, but the Rams finished with the No. 1 scoring offense this year.

Naturally, then, it makes sense to compare the 2025 Rams with another offensive juggernaut in this franchise's history: The Greatest Show on Turf. Both are led by Hall-of-Fame quarterbacks with two superstar receivers and a great running back.

That's what ex-NFL running back Rashad Jennings believes, at least. And he wanted to know if one of the most important people from that Greatest Show team agreed. Jennings told "Good Morning Football" that when he called ex-Rams running back Marshall Faulk, he asked him if "this Rams team is the closest thing that we've seen since the Greatest Show on Turf."

Jennings said that Faulk agreed.

Now, this won't be true unless this version of the Rams wins the Super Bowl. The 1999 Rams won the Lombardi Trophy with Faulk, Kurt Warner, Isaac Bruce and Torry Holt. Warner also won MVP that year and Faulk won Offensive Player of the Year. They also led the NFL with an insane 32.9 points per game average, and their defense ranked fourth in points allowed.

The 2025 Rams have a similar build, with an MVP-caliber quarterback in Stafford and an OPOY-caliber player in receiver Puka Nacua. Wideout Davante Adams and running back Kyren Williams round out the No. 1 scoring offense, too, although this year's team averages 30.5 points per game.

This is an exciting squad to watch and certainly reminiscent of one of the best offensive teams in the modern NFL. We'll see if they have the same ending to their season.
