OKC will see where Jalen Williams is at with his right hamstring strain in a couple of weeks, per Thunder PR.

Williams sustained the injury during OKC’s 122-120 road loss to the Miami Heat on Saturday. The All-NBA forward is averaging 16.8 points, 5.6 assists and 4.8 rebounds this season.

Williams missed the first 19 games of this season due to a right shooting wrist injury that required two surgeries. He’ll now work towards his return to the reigning champion Thunder (35-8), which boasts the best record in the NBA.

"I always feel bad for guys (getting injured)," Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault said. "This is their life, and they put so much work into it. In his case, he put so much work into getting back to the court. ... It sucks, but you've got to play the ball where it is. That's what he's going to do. He's going to put one foot in front of the other and attack the return to play, as he's always done. It's part of professionalism. It's part of mental toughness.

"And that's what he is. He's a pro and he's mentally tough, so I have no doubt he'll do that."

OKC will face the Cleveland Cavaliers on the road at 1:30 p.m. CST Monday. It'll then conclude its four-game road trip with a game against the Milwaukee Bucks at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
