Manchester United welcome winless Wolves to Old Trafford in the Premier League this evening.
Ruben Amorim’s side are bidding to build on an important 1-0 win over Newcastle on Boxing Day, a result that keeps the Red Devils in touch of the Champions League places. United sit sixth in the Premier League, just three points outside the top four.

Their opponents arrive in Manchester following a woeful start to the campaign. Wolves are without a win in 18 games and have taken just two points all season. Rob Edwards’s side are already 16 points adrift of safety.
Manchester United team news
Ruben Amorim continues to manage injuries and absentees. Bruno Fernandes remains out with a hamstring issue, voiding United of their most creative presence. There was a further blow during the win over Newcastle as Mason Mount limped off. In their absence, Matheus Cunha will be tasked with providing spark against his former team.
Defensive stocks are also depleted, with Harry Maguire and Matthijs de Ligt both absent. Teenager Ayden Heaven started, and shone, against Newcastle as Amorim shifted to a back four.

The loss of Amad and Mbeumo saw wing-back Patrick Dorgu moved to a more advanced role against Newcastle. The Dane impressed, scoring the winner with his first Manchester United goal.
