BATON ROUGE — Lane Kiffin's newest assistant at LSU football lands his first big recruiting victory in his new job.
New LSU defensive line coach Sterling Lucas helped his new team land class of 2027 five-star defensive end Jaiden Bryant from Irmo, South Carolina Saturday.

The No. 5 rated edge rusher in the 2027 class announced his commitment to the Tigers via his social media pages. He chose LSU over his home state team South Carolina, Alabama, Texas A&M, Miami and Georgia.
For Kiffin, it's the first big recruiting win for his first full recruiting class at LSU. Bryant is ranked 34th overall according to the 247Sports Composite.
