LSU football has secured a visit from one of the top-ranked wide receivers in the transfer portal. According to On3's Pete Nakos, former NC State wideout Terrell Anderson is planning a stop in Baton Rouge. LSU head coach Lane Kiffin and staff are looking at a complete rebuild of the wide receiver rooms thanks to a combo of NFL draft and transfer portal exits.
On3's Transfer Portal Industry Rankings currently slot Anderson as the No. 4-ranked wide receiver in the portal. He just finished his sophomore campaign with the Wolfpack, where he totaled 625 yards and five touchdowns. Anderson was a top-100 recruit coming out of high school in 2024. The Rivals Industry Rankings considered Anderson a top-five prospect in North Carolina.

Anderson averaged 2.23 yards per route run in 2025, ranking No. 11 in the SEC. That stat has a strong signal when it comes to predicting a wide receiver's future performance. Kiffin, along with GM Billy Glasscock and wide receivers coach George McDonald, have a strong track record of identifying wide receiver talent in the transfer portal.
Anderson was one of the ACC's top deep targets in 2025. Per PFF, his grade on deep passes (20+ air yards) was a perfect 99.9, ranking second among ACC pass catchers.
