Louisville lands Ohio State transfer QB Lincoln Kienholz

For the fourth time in four years, Jeff Brohm appears prepared to give the reigns to his offense to a transfer portal quarterback.

Ohio State quarterback Lincoln Kienholz has committed to Louisville during his weekend visit to the school.

A 5-star recruit coming out of high school, Kienholz battled during the summer for the Buckeyes’ starting QB spot before ultimately losing out to Heisman finalist Julian Sayin. In three years at OSU, Lincoln Kienholz threw for 250 yards and a touchdown. He also ran for 68 yards and two more scores.

A multi-sport star in high school, Kienholz is known for his high-level athleticism and his touch as a passer.

He’ll also do this from time-to-time:

We’ve seen 5-star backups at blue-blood programs transfer elsewhere and become stars. Hell, the guys Kienholz lost the job to at OSU was a ‘Bama transfer.
