LOOK: New Orleans Saints' opponents are set for the 2026 season

6 days ago 2

The New Orleans Saints fell short to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, ending their season with a 6-11 record. It's always frustrating to lose to their longest-running rivals (especially this year, their first season-sweep since 2016), but there are some silver linings here. For one thing, the Saints ended the 2025 season by finishing in fourth place in the NFC South. That means another weak lineup of opponents for them to face in 2026.

Here are the teams the Saints will compete against next season:

Home: Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, Arizona Cardinals, Las Vegas Raiders

Away: Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, New York Giants

Out of those teams, just the Panthers (who the Saints will play twice), the Bears, and either the Steelers or Ravens are reaching this year's playoffs. If the Saints can make some smart moves this offseason to surround quarterback Tyler Shough with more talent, they could surprise some people in 2026. Fortune is finally starting to turn in their favor after too many years in the NFL's wilderness.
