CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS — The Cambridge Springs boys basketball team defeated Crawford Christian Academy 66-59 in a non-region game at The Devils Den on Monday.

Isaac Laniewicz led all scorers with 24 points. Isaiah Simpson and Latavion Fitzpatrick added 16 and 12 points, respectively.

Crawford Christian Academy's Silas Raber led the Chargers with 18 points.

Cambridge Springs is 2-7 overall. The Blue Devils will play another non-region game on Wednesday when they host Eisenhower.

Brady leads Eagle to win

GREENVILLE — Conneaut senior Alex Brady scored 32 points and led the Eagles to a 70-45 non-region win over Greenville on Monday.

Nick Garcia and Alex O'Grady scored 13 and 11 points, respectively. Conneaut moved to 4-6 overall. The Eagles play a Region 5 game at Franklin today.

Meadville's girls basketball team lost 55-41 to Greenville on Monday at The House of Thrills in non-region action.

Ava Luteran led the Bulldogs with 21 points. Jayda Gongaware scored nine points and Kiki Gongaware added seven.

Meadville fell to 4-6 overall and will play at Franklin on Thursday for a Region 5 matchup

COCHRANTON — Cochranton scored 60 points in a 60-30 Region 2 victory against Commodore Perry on Monday.

Claire McCartney and Hannah Lyons scored 15 and 13 points, respectively, to lead the Cardinals. Alaina Shorts added nine and Karmyn Reese scored eight.

The Cardinals lead Region 2 at 4-0 and are 4-7 overall. The Cards play at Jamestown Thursday in another Region 2 game.

LINESVILLE — Conneaut defeated Sharon 50-36 in a non-region girls basketball game at Conneaut Area Senior High School.

Conneaut senior Courtney Perrye led all scorers with 15 points. Lilly Detelich and BreAnne Dendis scored 13 and 10 points, respectively.

The Eagles moved to 6-3 overall and will host Harbor Creek on Wednesday for more non-region action.

ROCKY GROVE — The Cambridge Springs girls basketball team lost a Region 2 game to Rocky Grove 41-27 on Monday at Rocky Grove High School.

The Blue Devils led 14-8 at halftime, but were outscored 33-13 in the second half.

Junior Kylie Hayes led the Blue Devils with 12 points.

Cambridge Springs fell to 0-4 in region play and 0-11 overall. The Blue Devils will host Commodore Perry for more region action on Thursday.
