Lily Lauer gets shutout, assist in victory over St. Paul/Two Rivers

Dec. 30—NEW HOPE — In the past two games, Lily Lauer has faced 23 shots. She's stopped each one.

Lauer earned another shutout Tuesday as the Bemidji High School girls hockey team won 6-0 over St. Paul/Two Rivers in the Holiday Classic Tournament in New Hope.

Bailey Rupp earned another hat trick, following the one she earned against Hastings Monday. She scored two in the first period and one in the second.

Naomi Johnson earned five points: an assist in the first period, a goal and two assists in the second and a goal third. Megan Berg scored the other goal for the Jacks, coming in the second period.

Lauer stopped 13 shots and was credited with an assist in Berg's goal.
