Lamar Jackson receives injury update ahead of Week 18 vs. Steelers

1 week ago 2

Days away from the Pittsburgh Steelers' Week 18 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens, quarterback Lamar Jackson (back) is trending toward playing after missing last Saturday's game against the Green Bay Packers.

On Thursday, Jackson logged his second consecutive practice and should start against the Steelers this Sunday, barring any potential setback.

In the Week 14 matchup between the Steelers and Ravens, Jackson completed 19 of 35 pass attempts for 219 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. He also rushed for 43 yards and one touchdown.

While Jackson has taken the rest of the league by storm during his eight-year career, Pittsburgh has largely been his kryptonite and will look to be so once again when the Steelers host the Ravens for Sunday Night Football on January 4 at 8:20 p.m. EST.
