One night after defeating the New Orleans Pelicans 111-103 for their third win in a row, the Los Angeles Lakers are taking the court at Frost Bank Arena to face the San Antonio Spurs. They start this game in third place in the Western Conference with a 23-11 record, while the Spurs are in second place with a 25-11 mark.
On Tuesday, LeBron James yet again defied his listed age and heavy mileage by putting up 30 points, eight rebounds and eight assists. Unfortunately for Los Angeles, he will not play versus San Antonio, and he's officially listed out due to left foot joint arthritis and right sciatica.

Forward Jarred Vanderbilt will start in his place.
On a brighter note, guard Gabe Vincent, who has missed each of the Lakers' nine games with a back ailment, will return to action.
After this game, the Purple and Gold will return home on Friday to host Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks.
