Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams continues to play at a consistently high level. Despite splitting carries with Blake Corum, Williams has rushed for 1,192 yards and 10 touchdowns in 16 games.
This is the third season in a row Williams has eclipsed the 1,000-yard, 10-touchdown mark. That's impressive in its own right, but Williams joined a truly elite duo of running backs with his performances.

According to the Rams' PR department, Williams is one of three running backs under the age of 25 to rush for at least 3,600 yards and 36 touchdowns over three years. The other two are Adrian Peterson and LaDainian Tomlinson, two of the best players at their position in NFL history.
While this stat doesn't mean Williams is or will be as good as Peterson and Tomlinson, his performances over the past three years are indicative of a player who is playing at an elite level. Williams has been a staple of the Rams offense since he took over a starter in 2023 and has remained as such even as head coach Sean McVay added and leaned on Corum more in the running game.
The Rams rewarded Williams with a great three-year contract this offseason, reinforcing the idea that he'll remain a part of the team's future. The hope for Williams, now, is that he'll continue to develop his game and be recognized as one of the top players at his position — like Peterson and Tomlinson.
