"Jags fans, this is Cole Van Lanen -- a lot more to do this year, but excited to be locked in for the next three years. Let's go, Duval."
Van Lanen's versatility has been crucial to the Jaguars' offensive success this season. As the offensive line has navigated numerous injuries, Van Lanen has stepped in at just about every spot up front.
This includes starting games at left tackle, left guard, right guard, and right tackle.
Over the last month, however, Van Lanen has seemingly found a permanent home at left tackle.
During that span of games, Van Lanen ranks 10th among all tackles in PFF's pass-blocking efficiency metric. He also ranks 10th in run-blocking grade during that span as well.

Van Lanen's new deal is worth $51 million and includes $32.5 million guaranteed. With incentives, the contract could be worth as much as $55.5 million, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
He was originally set to be a free agent this upcoming offseason.
