The Edmonton Oilers have made the decision to recall Isaac Howard from their AHL affiliate, the Bakersfield Condors.

The former Michigan State standout, and Hobey Baker Award winner, has had a rollercoaster ride of a first professional season, but is looking to take control in the new year.

Howard's call up comes on the heels of winning the AHL's December Player of the Month award after leading the league in scoring with 16 points in 11 games, including a natural hat trick and four three-point games. He will be in the lineup when the Oilers play the Philadelphia Flyers.
