GREEN BAY – Former Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs participated in his first practice with the Green Bay Packers on New Year’s Day.
Diggs, wearing a No. 28 jersey, went through drills and worked with the secondary.

Packers coach Matt LaFleur said during his pre-practice news conference that Diggs could “potentially” play against the Minnesota Vikings on Jan. 4.
For the rest of the team, three players were absent during practice.

Dontayvion Wicks injury update
Packers receiver Dontayvion Wicks missed his second straight day of practice.
Wicks left the game against the Baltimore Ravens in the first half and was evaluated for a concussion. He didn’t return.
He was spotted walking on a treadmill as the team went through practice, during the portion of practice open to the media.
Savion Williams injury update
Packers receiver/special-teamer Savion Williams didn’t practice.

Williams, who’s dealing with a foot injury and illness, was a limited participate Dec. 31.
Donovan Jennings injury update
Packers backup offensive lineman Donovan Jennings wasn’t spotted at practice Jan. 1.
Jennings hasn’t been on the injury report.
Jordan Love injury update
Packers coach Matt LaFleur said Clayton Tune will start against the Vikings and that Jordan Love, who participated in practice, likely wouldn't play.
Love, who was a full participant in the Dec. 31 practice, cleared concussion protocol, per LaFleur.
Malik Willis injury update
Packers quarterback Malik Willis has been dealing with a shoulder injury since the Chicago Bears game and has been limited in practice. He participated for the second straight day.
