4 days ago 2

Michigan State has landed their third running back commitment of the transfer portal cycle, this time plucking a Big Ten running back to join the roster.

Iowa running back transfer Jaziun Patterson has committed to Michigan State for his final year of eligibility. He expects to play a complimentary role for the Spartans offense, while being a key contributor to special teams. A native of Pompano, Beach, Fla., Patterson checks in as a 5-foot-10 and 210 pound running back. In his four seasons with the Hawkeyes, he ran the ball for 858 yards on 195 attempts.

Patterson was a secret visitor this past week, coming to East Lansing under the radar, and coming out of his trip as the newest member of the Spartan program.
