After North Dakota State kicker Eli Ozick was spotted attending Saturday's Iowa basketball win over UCLA, the former Bison officially committed to the Hawkeyes out of the NCAA transfer portal on Sunday night.
The 5-foot-11, 191-pound FCS All-American from Liberty, Mo., hit 19-of-23 field goals over his three seasons with a career long of 54 yards and was a part of the Bisons' 2024 FCS National Championship team.

This past season, Ozick made 16-of-18 field goals for the No. 1-seeded North Dakota State, which suffered a historic second-round upset to Illinois State in the FCS Playoffs.
Landing Ozick is precisely what the Hawkeyes need for their special teams unit, especially considering that the team will need to replace outgoing starting kicker Drew Stevens entering next season.
