Insider provides update on Steelers' T.J. Watt ahead of Week 18

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport provided an update on Pittsburgh Steelers OLB T.J. Watt just a few days out from the Week 18 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens.

Three weeks removed from surgery to repair a partially collapsed lung, Watt managed to practice as a limited participant ahead of the Week 18 showdown against Baltimore, but Rapoport believes the Steelers need to see a little more before giving him the greenlight for this Sunday.

"If he does not get to full by the end of the week, once again he will not be able to play," Rapoport said on Thursday. "Seems to be a good place physically. But, again, not the full T.J. Watt."

Watt suffered his partially collapsed lung as a result of a dry needling session gone wrong. He's missed the past four games as he recovers from surgery to repair and stabilize the lung.

If Watt can't suit up against the Ravens this Sunday, expect Nick Herbig and Alex Highsmith, who's playing some of the best football of his career at the moment, to lead Pittsburgh's edge rushers to close out the regular season.
