KK Holman has been released to return to play, her mother, Hamilton Southeastern assistant coach Lisa Holman, confirmed Friday.

The senior Florida commit was carried off the floor Monday after suffering a non-contact knee injury during the third quarter of HSE's game vs. Valparaiso. She did not return to the game and did not play Tuesday vs. Decatur Central.

Holman underwent an MRI Tuesday, the results of which came back clean.

Rated a four-star recruit and ranked 53rd nationally by ESPN, Holman entered the week averaging 19 points, seven rebounds, three assists, three steals and a block through 13 games.

A career 1,000-point scorer, her 2025 game log is highlighted by a 29-point effort in an overtime loss to Lawrence Central in the third game of the season, and a career-best 31-point performance vs. Franklin Central a week later.

Holman, who is shooting 44% from the field and a career-best 70% at the free-throw line, is closing in on 500 rebounds, 500 assists and 200 steals for her career.

"KK's not afraid of the physicality (and) that's what's so special about her, that versatility," coach Brian Satterfield said of the Indiana Miss Basketball candidate earlier this season. "Yeah, she's a point guard, but she can guard anybody on the floor and can actually play any position."

Hamilton Southeastern (13-2) rallied to beat Valparaiso in Holman's absence Monday afternoon, pulling out the 53-50 victory on a buzzer-beating 3-pointer by senior Bowling Green commit Kayla Stidham.

The team's second-leading scorer, Stidham paced the Royals against Decatur Central on Tuesday, pouring in a game-high 30 points in the come-from-behind win.

"It's hard knowing your point guard, your calmness to the team is out," Stidham said Wednesday during an appearance on The Scorers Table. "I regrouped everyone (after Holman's injury) and tried to keep them calm. We're going to have to have a new point guard, new people step up."

HSE's schedule picks up right away in January with a back-to-back this weekend against Carmel and Plainfield. It will have more time between games the rest of the way, but the level of difficulty remains high with a Jan. 10 trip to Fort Wayne Carroll followed by Westfield (Jan. 16), Zionsville (Jan. 23), Center Grove (Jan. 24) and Pike (Jan. 27).
