How Chargers WR Keenan Allen can cash in big in Week 18 vs. Broncos

As the Chargers prepare for their Week 18 matchup against the Broncos, wide receiver Keenan Allen has significant contract incentives on the line, $1.5 million to be exact.

Heading into the regular season finale, Allen sits at 74 receptions for 741 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Here is what he needs to accomplish to get paid:

  • 6 receptions — $750,000

  • 9 receiving yards — $250,000

  • 134 receiving yards — $250,000

  • 2 receiving touchdowns — $250,000

The two most realistic incentives are 6 catches ($750k) and 9 yards ($250k), which would still earn him $1 million. Allen has only had one 100-yard receiving game and just four touchdowns.

However, Allen's opportunities could be limited with quarterback Justin Herbert ruled out to rest ahead of the playoffs and backup Trey Lance starting.
