🏀BOYS BASKETBALL
Cranston West 54, Narragansett 50
A second-half defensive switch and timely offense helped Cranston West to a comeback win at home in Division II.

The Falcons rallied from down 10 and closed to within a point at halftime against Narragansett. Cranston West then came out of the break in a zone defense and denied the Mariners with a gritty 54-50 victory.
Cranston West stretched their lead to eight in the second half on an 11-0 run that was powered by Diante Jackson’s 15 points. The sophomore forward tallied a dozen in the second half including a breakaway dunk that gave the Falcons a 47-44 edge with four minutes left in regulation.
Jackson and Noah Germain (14 points) dominated the glass over the final 16 minutes to secure Cranston West’s fifth win of the season.
Narragansett’s Aidan Clancey canned three straight 3s in the third quarter to pull Narragansett ahead. But the Mariners didn’t have enough answers against the Falcons’ zone to pull out the win. Clancey finished with a game-high 26 points on seven triples in the loss.

Both teams are back in action on Thursday as Cranston West hosts Rogers and Narragansett travels to South Kingstown.

🏀BOYS BASKETBALL - Division I
Classical 51, Portsmouth 47
Elizier Delbray scored 24 points, including 7 straight free throws at the end of the game to seal the victory, and teammate JJ Galvon had 12 points to lead the Purple.
Adam Conheeny had a game-high 26 points for the Patriots and Jack Casey had 10 points in the loss.
Jaydason Barros, East Providence Boys Basketball
East Providence 67, North Kingstown 52
The Skippers featured four players in double-figures, but it still wasn't enough to topple the Townies and their sharpshooters in this Division I matchup. East Providence's Jaydason Barros scored 18 points, all on 3-pointers, and Jayden Vaz netted a game-high 19 in the win. East Providence opened a 5-point halftime lead into a comfortable margin of victory.

For North Kingstown, Joey Simoes led the way with 12 points and teammates Jake Perry (11), Greg Kirwan (11) and Cooper Berthelot (10) each scored at least 10 in the loss.
Lincoln 52, Shea 44
Gianni Pagios led the way with 24 points and Jarett O'Hagan had 12 to lift the Lions past the Raiders. For Shea, Jaydeion Morrobel had 12 in the loss.
🏀BOYS BASKETBALL - Division II
Burrillville 62, Rogers 54
Dylan Kafalas had himself a night, scoring a career-high 35 points to lead the Broncos past the Vikings in this Division II showdown. Jack Belluzzi added 9 in the winning effort. For Rogers, four players scored in double-digits in the loss. They were Juelz Peer (13), Neche Jones (12), Luke Matthews (12) and Victor Ruggieri (10).
Quinn Scaramella, East Greenwich Boys Basketball
East Greenwich 53, West Warwick 32
The Avengers trailed the Wizards by 7 points at the break, but a big second half by East Greenwich meant the season's first loss for neighboring West Warwick. EG's balanced attack was led by Quinn Scaramella with 14 points, Aidan Glynn had 11 and Jacoby Basler added 10. The Avengers made 11 3-pointers in the game, with seven coming in the second half. West Warwick was led by Colin Kelly with 11 points.

🏀BOYS BASKETBALL - Division III
Davies 55, Achievement First 42
Achievement First raced out to a 31-20 halftime lead, but the stellar defensive play by Kevin Arreola and Ramon Reyes sparked the Patriots comeback. On the offensive end for Davies, Aidan Kearns scored game-high 21 points, Albert Medrano had 18 points and Zion Rayside had 9 points and also pulled down 13 rebounds.
For AF, Malachi Stone had a team-high 18 points in the loss.
Toll Gate 67, Blackstone Valley 51
Seniors Jake Andersen and Damola Oremosu each produced double-doubles in the Titans win over Blackstone Valley Prep. Oremosu had 15 points and 18 boards and Anderson scored 21 points and pulled down 10 rebounds. Sophomore Aidan Tourangeau also had a big hand in the win with 12 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists.

For BVP, seniors Jose Perez and Noah Ferreira scored 12 and 10 points respectively, in the loss.
North Smithfield 60, Tiverton 51
Trailing by three at the break, the Northmen found their offense in the second half to push past the Tigers. Connor Reilly led the way for North Smithfield with a team-high 18 points. For the Tigers, Caleb Purcell scored a game-high 20 points and Jase Kelly had 17 in the loss.

Moses Brown 58, La Salle 56
Lauren Bousquet and teammate Marielle Nasiff combined to score 55 of the Quakers 58 points in the win over the Rams. Bousquet pumped in a game-high 34 points, 24 coming in the second half, and Nassif added 21 more, including 4 Treys.

Two players reached double digits for the Rams in the loss. Sophia Caparco scored 13 points and Valentina Micheletti added 11 points.
Zareia Colome, Pawtucket Girls Basketball Ella Martin, Barrington Girls Basketball
Pawtucket 57, Juanita Sanchez 40
Zareia Colome scored a team-high 24 points and Azilyn Medina added 16 to help get the Pawtucket co-op team back to .500 (2-2). For the Cavaliers (0-2), Anayjah Delves netted a game-high 28 points in the loss.
Westerly 60, North Kingstown 44
Ella Reyes was firing on all cylinders with an game-high 28 points in the Bulldogs. Reyes night included 3 three-pointers and she was 7-for-7 at the free throw line. Macy Antoch added 12 more points on the victory.

Brooke Faunce had 12 points and Shea Kalin had 10 more for the Skippers in a losing effort.
🏀GIRLS BASKETBALL - Division II
Zarae Hall, East Providence Girls Basketball
East Providence 47, Mt. Hope 27
Zarae Hall dropped in a game-high 19 points and Jordin Peckham added 10 more as the Townies rolled to victory. Lillian DaSilveira had 17 points for the Huskies in the loss.
Exeter-West Greenwich 39, Cumberland 26
Kate Hebert led the Division III Scarlet Knights with 12 points, 8 steals and 8 rebounds, while Nini Olawuyi netted 10 points, 9 rebounds, 3 steals and 3 blocks in the crossover win, pushing EWG's record to 4-1. For the Division II Clippers (2-4), Olivia Lyndon scored a game-high 13 points.

🏀GIRLS BASKETBALL - Division III
Pilgrim 36, Cranston East 19
Maddison Belanger netted a game-high 9 points, all on 3-pointers), to lead the Patriots. Lia Wasilewski and Leah Shea each added 8 in the win. For the Thunderbolts, Naomi Lopez Santes scored a team-best 6 points in the loss.
Prout 42, Providence Country Day 19
Despite being down starters, Prout jumped out to a 25-3 lead at the half and didn't look back in its win over PCD. A balanced attack led by sophomore Luciana Marchione (10 points) and junior captain Caitlin O'Hara (8 points with two threes) paved the way for the win.

For the Knights, senior Victoria Viera was the top scorer with 9 points and freshman Dorothy Karl chipped in with 5 points in the loss
Davies 56, Paul Cuffee/St. Patrick's 20
The Patriots rode the hot shooting touch of Aniyah Gomes who led all scorers with 21 points, Shayla Da Rosa added 12 and JayllineBrito Silva had 8 in the win. For the Navigators, Jasmine Exil scored a team-high 12 points in the loss.
North Providence 41, Mt. Pleasant 18
The Cougars made quick work of the Kilties in this Division III matchup. Leading the way for North Providence was Mariana Xavier with a game-high 11 points, including three 3-pointers, and Yamelis Godfrey added 9. For Mount Pleasant, Kianny Contreras scored 6 in the loss. North Providence moves to 3-2 with the win and Mount Pleasant slips to 0-2.
