Providence jumped out to a 6-5 lead after one quarter and upped that margin to 23-12 at intermission. The Tritons battled back to tie things up at 37-37 after three quarters.
Notre Dame took charge from there.

William Birkholz gave De Pere a 1-0 lead in the first period with Wehausen making it 2-0 with his first goal in the second period.
Landon Smith added a goal at 2:23 of the third period before Zack Herzog scored for KMMO to make it 3-1.
Wehausen then scored his second goal at 14:44 of the period to make it 4-1.
Landon Smith had two assists for De Pere. Austin Lee, Max Greenya, Leo Dose and Dayne Wafle each had one assist.
Chase VandEven had 24 saves in goal for De Pere. Samuel Haas had 38 saves for KMMO.
