The New York Giants are retaining general manager Joe Schoen, which should be good news for Don Bosco football.
Joe’s son, Carson, just completed a successful sophomore season as the starting quarterback at Don Bosco Preparatory High School, leading the Ironmen to the Non-Public A state championship game at MetLife Stadium.

The Ironmen finished 11-1, losing to St. Joseph, 24-21, in the state final
Schoen burst onto the North Jersey football scene in Texas, entering Don Bosco’s season opening game at Melissa High School in the second half and leading the Ironmen to a 14-10 comeback win.

He finished the season by completing 98 of 161 pass attempts for 1,551 yards and 17 touchdowns, and was named second-team All-Bergen County. Don Bosco finished No. 2 in the final New Jersey Super 25 rankings.
Schoen currently has Division I offers from Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Coastal Carolina.
