Abrams was with the organization for the past 27 years, surviving four different general manager changes.

He spent 20 years serving as the assistant GM after getting started with Big Blue as a salary-consultant.

The 54-year-old moved into a new role as the senior vice president of football operations and strategy after Joe Schoen brought in Brandon Brown from the Eagles to be his assistant in 2022.

Now, Abrams has been fired from that job just one day after Harbaugh was officially introduced as NY's head coach.
