Giants' Evan Neal will work with LeCharles Bentley to 'reframe his career'

Evan Neal, the No. 7 overall pick in the 2022 NFL draft by the New York Giants, is set for a career turnaround after a challenging stint in New York.

Hampered by injuries and inconsistent play, Neal struggled against speed rushes, showed little technical improvement, and spent much of the 2025 season on injured reserve (IR). The Giants declined his fifth-year option, signaling his likely free agent departure after being labeled one of general manager Joe Schoen's biggest draft misses.

Now representing Neal, AMDG Sports -- founded by former Pro Bowl offensive lineman LeCharles Bentley -- announced that the 25-year-old will train with Bentley this offseason.

Bentley, a respected offensive line coach known for elite development, will guide Neal through honest evaluation and sustained performance training to "reframe his career."

Remaining optimistic, Neal views his Giants experience as growing pains and is eager for a fresh start in the NFL.
