Gary O’Neil is a strong contender to replace Liam Rosenior as Strasbourg manager.
According to L’Equipe, O’Neil is one of the names being reviewed by BlueCo, and he is understood to have met the representatives of the ownership group on Saturday.

Rosenior is set to replace Enzo Maresca at Chelsea, who left after a complete breakdown in relations with the club’s hierarchy.
The former Fulham star has reportedly travelled to London on Sunday to open talks with the Blues.
Rosenior leaves Strasbourg seventh in the Ligue 1 table. They will take on fourth tier side Avranches on Saturday in the Coupe de France.
O’Neil has been without a job since Wolverhampton Wanderers sacked him in December 2024 following a dismal run of form.
The English boss led Wolves to a 14th-place Premier League finish and the quarter finals of the FA Cup in his debut season.

Impressed with his work, the Midlands outfit handed him a new four-year contract just before the start of the 2024-25 campaign.
However, things turned out to be very different for O’Neil last season. His team registered only nine points from 16 matches to drop down to the relegation zone, prompting the club to dismiss him.
The 42-year-old also managed Bournemouth for the 2022-23 campaign. He led them to a 15th-place finish but was sacked in the following summer.
O’Neil had the opportunity to return to Wolves after Vitor Pereira’s dismissal, but he turned down the chance.
