FROSTBURG — Salem entered Wednesday 1-11 but kept it competitive for three quarters.
Frostburg State led after each quarter and held on for a 68-57 win at Bobcat Arena.
The Bobcats (8-7) led 23-8, 38-27 and 49-41 through three quarters.

Julie Spinelli scored a game high 21 points with eight rebounds and a steal for Frostburg.
Ayla Hileman scored 15 points with four assists while Jenna Muha added a double-double of 11 points, 10 rebounds, two blocks and a steal.
Nakayla Green led the Tigers with 16 points, followed by Selena Frost (15) and Batoul Khaleefah (11),
The Bobcats head to Point Park (3-9) on Saturday at 2 p.m.
Southern Maryland 76, Allegany 43
CUMBERLAND — Southern Maryland led 26-9 after one and coasted to a win over Allegany College on Wednesday at Bob Kirk Arena.
The Hawks (5-7) led 41-21 at halftime and 50-34 after three.

Amoni Taylor scored a game-high 25 points, adding four rebounds and a steal for Southern Maryland.
Demi Lathern scored 17 with five assists, three rebounds and three steals while Cailyn Samuel added 13 points, seven rebounds and three assists.
Genesis Alvarez led the Trojans (1-11) with 17 points, adding eight boards, three assists and two steals.
Layla Miller (Mountain Ridge) scored 10 points with seven boards and two steals.
The Trojans host Baltimore City (1-17) on Monday at 1 p.m.
Jamestown 73, Garrett 70
JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — Jamestown outscored Garrett 27-16 in the third quarter, giving the Skyhawks (10-6) the cushion needed for a win on Wednesday.

Tied at 17 after one, the Lakers (5-5) led 35-32 at halftime before Jamestown took a 59-51 lead into the fourth.
Garrett outscored Jamestown 19-14 in the fourth, but it wasn't enough.
Mila Espinoza scored a game-high 22 points for the Skyhawks, followed by Ashlynn Delcamp (18) and Jani Washington (12).
Espinoza added six assists, four rebounds and four steals while Delcamp had a double-double with 13 rebounds.
Hailey Newsome led the Lakers with a 19 point double-double, adding 13 rebounds and a block.
Da'shai Morton-Hall scored 17 points with nine boards, six assists and three steals.
Carly Wilt (Southern) finished with 14 points, six rebounds, three assists and a steal.
Jameriah Butler scored 13 with four boards and two steals.
The Lakers head to Prince George's (4-10) on Saturday at noon.
