Former Wisconsin wide receiver Chimere Dike set the NFL record for the most all-purpose yards in a season by a rookie last weekend.
With 2,317 all-purpose yards through 16 games, Dike surpassed Pro Football Hall of Fame wide receiver Tim Brown's mark as a rookie in 1988. The former Badger broke the record with a strong performance in the Tennessee Titans' penultimate game against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.

Dike's 40 return, 55 receiving and seven rushing yards enabled him to leapfrog Brown and break a record that stood for nearly 40 years. The former Badger has evolved into a key contributor for the Titans' unit, particularly as a special teams player.
Through his first 16 games as a pro, he's accumulated 396 receiving yards on 45 receptions and 18 rush yards on 11 carries on the offensive end. On special teams, he's returned 61 kicks for 1,568 yards and 22 punts for 389 yards and two touchdowns.
Dike's efforts in punt and kick return situations netted him a Pro Bowl appearance as a rookie. He joins teammate Jeffery Simmons as the only Titans to earn a bid to participate in the NFL's All-Star festivities.

Tennessee selected the former Badger with the first pick of the fourth round (No. 103 overall) of the 2025 NFL draft back in April. The Waukesha, Wisconsin, native spent four years with UW before transferring to Florida prior to the 2024 season.
